Its been over a year since I designed my portfolio website and at the time I was very pleased with the results. It was just a simple static HTML website with my biography, resume and examples of my work. I really liked my site, but after a while I decided it was time for a change. The main problem that I had with my old site was mainly being able to update content without having to constantly go to Dreamweaver and upload file after file. As I became more knowledgeable about web design I was introduced to content management systems. This is my first time using Word Press and in the future I plan to use more content management systems such as Joomla or Drupal for sites that I design. Also for my new site I wanted to incorporate this blog so that I can post information useful to my friends that are designers as well as students that I help teach in the Printing and Publishing Department. I enjoyed designing this site and it has helped me learn more about CSS, HTML and a little PHP.
